DAY OF TEST
1. TAKE MEDICATIONS
If you have diabetes or other medical conditions, please check with your doctor for additional instructions.
Take your high blood pressure, seizure, or psychiatric drugs with sips of water.
2. DON’T EAT OR DRINK
Brush your teeth but do not swallow the water.
Do not chew gum.
Take nothing else by mouth.
3. LEAVE HOME ON TIME
Be sure to get to the test at or before the assigned arrival time.
Bring your identification card, insurance card, and method of payment.
Anticipate spending a 1/2 day at the hospital for the entire procedure.
